Annual General Meeting for Members
Thursday 27 April 2017 at 5.30 pm in the Paul Woodhouse Suite of Winchester Cathedral
You are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting for Winchester City Centre Partnership members on Thursday 27 April 2017 at 5.30 pm in the Paul Woodhouse Suite of Winchester Cathedral; this is opposite the main front doors of the Cathedral.
The purpose of the meeting is to present the annual report to members on the achievements of the Winchester City Centre Partnership, the operating company for the Winchester BID, over the past twelve months. We will also show our plans for the next twelve months present the accounts for 2015-16 and elect board members for the following year. There will be copies of the agenda available at the meeting, but it is also available for down load here.
The meeting will offer an opportunity for you to give your views on how the BID can continue to work effectively for local businesses and how it can continue to develop and promote Winchester as the perfect place to work, live, shop and visit.
The Winchester City Centre Partnership, which manages the BID, has a board of up to 13 individuals who between them are representative of the local business community and users of the services offered by the BID. It consists of Directors with a broad range of skills, as well as experience of doing business in Winchester, and they contribute strongly to the success of the Company.
The current Board and their companies comprise:

Our Articles require that two of the current BID elected board members, who have served the longest, shall retire from office. Thus Mark Dodd of the Chesil Rectory, and Lauren Wagner of the North Hampshire County Hospital are due to retire; both are keen to remain on the board to represent the membership and therefore it is recommended that they be re-appointed.
The BID team, members of the board and some of our stakeholders will available at the meeting to share views, discuss ideas and answer questions.
By working together, we can help ensure the next twelve months will be a positive time for business in Winchester. It would be useful if you could you please confirm your attendance by emailing chris.turner@winchesterbid.co.uk, or telephoning us on 01962 841000 if you require any further information.
If you would like to vote at the AGM you will need to formally join the Winchester City Centre Partnership company; those who attended the AGM in past years have already joined the company; for others, by replying to this email invitation to attend the AGM you are confirming that you are applying to join the Winchester City Centre Partnership company and that you agree to be bound by the obligations on you as set out here in the Memorandum and Articles of Association of the Company: when acting as member you shall act at all times in the best interest of the Company.
