The Bunny Hop Easter Trail returns to Winchester this Easter!
Take part in the Bunny Hop Trail – A city-wide Easter-themed trail!
This Easter and during the school holidays, Winchester Business Improvement District (BID) are organising a free and fun-filled, Easter-themed trail for kids and big kids alike. The Bunny Hop Easter Trail will run from Saturday 9 April to Sunday 24 April 2022.
Before heading out, download your Bunny Hop Easter Trail sheet or collect a copy from the Visitor Information Centre, The Arc or Winchester City Museum.
The city centre will be split into nine areas and each area will have its own Easter-themed word in its own-coloured Easter egg sign. Using the map from the trail sheet, simply, hop around the beautiful historic streets of Winchester and search for all nine Easter-themed words. Hidden in easter egg signs displayed in the windows of local participating businesses across the city. Once you have found all nine words, return your completed trail sheet to any of these three locations – Visitor Information Centre, The Arc or the Winchester City Museum, to then redeem an Easter-themed treat and be entered into the prize draw to win an Easter-inspired hamper, filled with lots of great gifts, kindly donated by local businesses.
Thania Miah, Marketing and Communications Coordinator at Winchester BID said:
“We are delighted to be hosting the Bunny Hop Easter Trail again this year, with many local businesses getting involved in this fun seasonal activity. This is a great opportunity for us to work with local businesses and other local partner organisations to help promote everything that Winchester has to offer this Easter.
The Bunny Hop Easter Trail is a fantastic way of introducing people to all the different areas of the city and is a fun familiarisation activity centred around the heart of our beautiful heritage city of Winchester.”
The Trail is open to all ages and the Easter-inspired hamper prize is a very attractive incentive to all. Winchester BID invites you to make a day of it and enjoy some of Winchester’s shops, cafes, restaurants and other local businesses along the way. Don’t forget to tag @WinchesterBID and use #BunnyHop on social media with your Easter selfies, so we can keep up with all the fun.
Good luck and Happy Easter!
