Hampshire based bridal boutique and Winchester BID member, Brides of Winchester, has been named Bridal Retailer of the Year, London and South East at The Wedding Industry Awards (TWIA) 2017.
The awards, which took place, at Millbridge Court, Frensham on 21 November 2016 are one of the most prestigious in the bridal industry as they are client-voted. They recognise and reward the high standards of the very best wedding suppliers. Brides of Winchester was selected as the overall regional winner, based on an overwhelming number of positive testimonials and scores they received from brides who bought their wedding dress from Brides of Winchester.
Winning the regional award puts Brides of Winchester in the coveted position of going forward as a National Finalist, with a well-deserved seat in the category of Bridal Retailer of the Year at the Wedding Industry Awards 2017. The National Final will take place on Thursday 12th January, 2017 in the spectacular surroundings of the Cafe de Paris, set in the heart of London’s West End. The event is a unique opportunity to toast the very best of the wedding industry and will signal an amazing start to the New Year for Brides of Winchester.

Brides of Winchester has gone from strength to strength since starting up in 2010, recently celebrating its 6th anniversary and become members of the Retail Bridal Industry (RBA) where boutiques must adhere to a strict code of practice that ensures the business operates with integrity, honesty and at the highest standard. Brides can indeed ‘Buy with Confidence’. With less than 100 bridal shops nationally having met their stringent entry requirements, this is indeed an achievement to be proud of.
