We are excited to announce that Winchester Fashion Week is returning this autumn, taking place from 16 to 21 October.
The celebration of style in the beautiful city of Winchester, now in its 12th year, is back with a packed schedule of masterclasses, showcases, exhibitions, stylist workshops, shopping events and the Grand Finale Catwalk Show.
Winchester Fashion Week is proudly presented by Winchester Business Improvement District (BID) working in partnership with the University of Winchester.
This year’s programme of events culminates in the popular Grand Finale Catwalk Show, which will be taking place at the University of Winchester’s King Alfred Centre on Saturday 21 October, from 7pm. This will be a spectacular night with professional models showcasing fashion and accessories from both national and independent retailers in Winchester city centre, with hair styling by ME Collective and makeup by Peter Symonds College. These include Anthropologie, Aspiga, Crew Clothing, Hampshire Wardrobe, Hobbs, Jigsaw, Mint Velvet, Mountain Warehouse, Phase Eight, Primark, Rawlings Opticians, Re:dress, Suave Owl, The Well Worn and White Stuff.

Sarah Davis, Business Improvement District Manager at Winchester BID said:
“We are delighted that the University of Winchester has chosen once again to support this annual event. The support of the university helps us to grow the event each year. We get the opportunity to work with students studying Fashion Marketing and Event Management and give them a real live event to work on. They can also create their own events during the week and gain valuable experience not just in the world of fashion, but in pulling together a show-stopping city-wide event. Our ongoing relationship with the university students and course leaders means that we are confident to develop new ideas and new ways of working to make the Grand Finale Catwalk Show, as well as the entire week, a great success.”
Sarah Moore-Williams, Dean of the University of Winchester’s Faculty of Business and Digital Technologies and Director of the University of Winchester Business School said:
“Fashion is an important sector of the UK economy mixing creativity and commerce. We are pleased that students across a number of subjects can display and develop their design, marketing and business skills as part of this exciting week of events.”
