Yesterday saw the launch of Winchester Business Improvement District’s refreshed Savings & Advisory Service, in association with Winchester-based strategic business and cost management specialists, Auditel.
The service, available to all Winchester BID members, is powered by a network of specialists at Auditel. They work with all types of organisations to help drive efficiency, effectiveness and productivity across hundreds of cost and business areas.
Auditel was founded in 1994 to help businesses make informed procurement decisions. Their strong network of 160 business management specialists work with a range of suppliers and service providers, allowing the best deals and savings to be passed directly on to BID Members.
Winchester BID have historically provided a similar service, which allowed some BID members to make substantial savings on utility costs. With Auditel’s expertise, the offering has now been expanded across the whole range of business supplies and services, including gas and electricity, merchant card fees, business consumables, waste management, HR, fleet procurement, uniform, fuel cards, marketing print, travel and more.
At the launch, BID Members were welcomed by Auditel Founder and Managing Director, Chris Allison and his team, as well as Dr Paul Spencer, Projects and Operations Manager at Winchester BID. They then received a presentation detailing examples of how the new Savings & Advisory Service can benefit Winchester BID members, including information on ICT and cloud strategy, GDPR compliance, and ‘fat, oils and grease’ as an environmental and economic problem.
Paul explains: “We hope that the new Savings and Advisory collaboration between the BID and Auditel will offer real savings to our BID Members. We are excited to work with such an established provider of strategic business and cost management consultancy, who are based in the city centre.”
Chris Allison adds: “Having been a part of the Winchester community for over two decades, we are delighted to be part of this project. The combined experience of our network of specialists means we can provide profitable solutions to other local businesses.”
