Spare Change for Real Change is an existing BID scheme, supported by Winchester City Council, which collects funds for local homeless charities Winchester Churches Nightshelter and Trinity Winchester.

The month of June is Spare Change for Real Change’s awareness launch, where we aim to re-educate the public on the great work that the two charities do and how donations to the many new red collection boxes around the city will help to end the cycle of homelessness in Winchester and ensure that donations are used in the best possible way to support homeless people.

We are also introducing a new text-giving scheme, where members of the public can donate to the charities, even when they don’t have coins available.

Our official launch is 10th June, where we will be in Winchester High Street talking to the public about Spare Change for Real Change. Look our for our stand (there will be delicious home made cakes and a visit from our MP, Steve Brine, too).

Keep an eye out for informative leaflets, posters, online and radio advertising to learn more about the imminent launch!
