Visitors from London (and further afield) have been tempted to travel to Winchester by global giant lastminute.com to find the Mona Lisa on a street bollard! Due to its history and heritage, Winchester is a tourist hot-spot with hundreds of things to see and do. Winchester BID actively promote tourism and encourage new visitors to the city. The Mona Lisa bollard is sponsored by Winchester BID and is one of a collection of 19 painted bollards, which were funded by Winchester City Council as part of a programme to refresh the Square.
