Researchers from management consultancy The Retail Group are completing an independent study for Winchester Business Improvement District (BID), asking BID members how we can best support your business now and over the next five years.
The aim of the study is threefold; to understand how the city is performing, to ascertain how Winchester BID has benefitted BID levy payers, and to identify preferred future initiatives for the BID to focus on. Your views are very important to us.
Researchers from The Retail Group were in the city centre visiting businesses across a range of sectors in the Winchester BID area on 23, 24 and 25 September collecting questionnaire responses and there is also an online version of the questionnaire which is now live. If you have not already completed a questionnaire then we would be grateful if you would please take a few minutes to participate in the survey online. Responses are completely confidential.

The survey will close on Friday 23 October and the findings will help shape the development of the Winchester BID Business Plan 2028-2033.
Winchester BID has been supporting businesses in Winchester city centre since 2008 and is a not-for-profit organisation led by local businesses. The BID delivers a programme of projects and services, which are additional to those provided by local statutory bodies, to help ensure that Winchester is marketed and promoted successfully, that our city centre is safe and secure, and that it is clean, attractive and sustainable, and is a place where businesses thrive.
