Let’s hop to it and join the FREE Bunny Hop Easter Trail in Winchester!
Get ready to bounce into the Easter spirit! Throughout the Easter school holidays, Winchester Business Improvement District (BID) is organising a free, fun-packed, Easter-themed adventure for kids and big kids alike. The Bunny Hop Easter Trail will run from Saturday 28 March to Sunday 12 April 2026.
Before you set off on your egg-citing quest, download your trail sheet here or pick one up from the Visitor Information Centre, The Arc, or Winchester City Museum.
The city centre has been sprinkled with Easter magic: split into nine areas, each hiding its very own Easter-themed word in the windows of local businesses. Use the map on the trail sheet to guide your way as you hop through Winchester’s beautiful historic streets in search of all nine hidden words.
Once you’ve discovered them all, return your completed trail sheet to any of the three hub locations*: Visitor Information Centre, The Arc, or Winchester City Museum to collect an egg-citing little treat. All completed sheets will also be entered into a prize draw to win a delightful Easter-inspired hamper, brimming with goodies kindly donated by local businesses.
Suzy Dierckx, Marketing and Social Media Manager at Winchester BID, said:
“There’s something special about the Bunny Hop Easter Trail, with enthusiastic explorers hopping into Spring across the city with brilliant participation from local businesses. We especially love seeing our repeat hoppers return year after year! The event is a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with businesses and local partner organisations to showcase all that Winchester has to offer this Easter.”
The Bunny Hop Easter Trail is a fantastic way to explore our beautiful heritage city while entertaining families and friends whilst discovering wonderful local businesses along the way.
The trail is open to all ages, and that Easter-inspired hamper prize is certainly a tempting treat! Winchester BID invites you to make a day of it and enjoy the city’s shops, cafés, restaurants and other brilliant local businesses as you hop along the trail. If you’re sharing your adventures online, don’t forget to tag @WinchesterBID and use #BunnyHop with your Easter selfies so we can join in the fun!
