Living Streets the UK charity for everyday walking, is working in partnership with Winchester City Council on their corporate campaign for 2016/17, Feet First. To help open up opportunities for walking, we will be running a led walk from St Catherine’s Park and Ride to Winchester High Street every morning during Park and Stride Week in September.

How often do we automatically jump in the car or on to a bus without trying the alternative of walking? Well now is your opportunity to liven up your commute and learn a new walking route. We’ll follow the same route each day- a quick, scenic and easy walk that takes in a couple of beauty spots along the way. Who doesn’t want to arrive at work feeling energised and refreshed?

You’re welcome to come along to one session or all of them- it’s up to you. If you’d prefer to give the walk a try on your own, keep an eye for the route map which will be circulated in the coming weeks.* All attendees can be entered into a prize draw to win £50 worth of Love to Shop vouchers and you might just bag yourself a free pedometer too!
